A documentary spotlighting the indigenous Sengwer people and their struggle to stay in part of their ancestral lands of the Embobut forest while Kenyan Government group the Kenyan Forest Service (KFS) attempt to get rid of them by burning their homes and using sporadic violence.
The film follows key members of the Sengwer movement attempting to get recognition for the people’s legal rights to be on the land.
It’s score is a mix of traditional percussion and synths.
